About
I’m a photographer based in Columbus, Ohio, who specializes in capturing architecture and interior spaces.
Photography has been a passion of mine since I was around 12 years old. It started when my mom let me use her camera so I could take pictures in the backyard. I took pictures of our shelties running around, the wild animals passing through, and landscape photos of the woods. I later began making short movies with my brothers and our friends. I loved being behind the camera creating stories and sharing them with my family. As I grew older, I lost interest in making movies and focused on photography.
In college, I studied Marketing and Photography at Ohio State University. My favorite subject in college was, of course, photography. My final photography class was cut short due to Covid, and I finished my last project from home. I decided to make cyanotype portraits of my family in a homemade darkroom. I thought it would only be a few weeks of quarantine, but eight months and one semester later, I graduated from my living room in December 2020. Soon after college, I decided to go for it and started my photography business. I got my first job working for my mom taking pictures for her interior design business. I then spent the next year working on my portfolio and gradually improving my photography. I am in my third year of business and can’t wait to see what’s next.
Lastly, I am grateful to my family and friends, who encourage me to do what I love. I am sure I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
